Five research questions were formulated by the researcher to guide the research work. The result of the data analysis showed that insufficient laboratory and field materials and equipment, lack of fund, insufficient specimen amongst others are the major challenges practical agriculture teachers encounter when teaching agriculture practicals. The possible solution to these challenges include improvisation of laboratory materials by the agriculture teachers, students and principals.
